An artist and former fashion entrepreneur, Liz has several distinct bodies of work. These include, mixed media figurative pieces painted in acrylic on unusual supports ranging from Plexiglas to fabric; large and small-scale collagraph monoprints composed using live plant material; and most recently acrylic films employing transparency and text.
Liz holds a Bachelors degree in Art History from Bucknell University, an Associates degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design and spent two semesters studying abroad, first in Florence (Syracuse University) and then in London (UCL). She is currently pursuing her MFA at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), where she continues to mine and distill her artistic goals.
